    10 Ton M123 A1C & 10 Ton M123 E2 Rescue

For the most part, I don't think the tires look too bad all things considered. How are they up close?

    10 Ton M123 A1C & 10 Ton M123 E2 Rescue

They are overwidth...114" wide if my memory is correct...it has been a while since I've owned one (M125).

Current shipping needs -- Trailers PA to WI and Generators GA to WI

Joe, I emailed you. Give me a ring. I can turn you onto a broker who just helped me move a truck. He will be able to come through for you.

    M1165

I can't comment on when they come in a truck, and when they don't, but my M1165A1 has a tach showing 161 hours (and about 1561 miles).

    Dualled M105A2 Project. Axle Narrowing?

What about finding an M200A1 (already with duals) and working to retrofit an M105 body onto it? It might amount to less work. Just a thought.

    57K2703 Vehicular Seat Kit

So, become a premium member. I forget the cost, but it is minimal. It is something like $15/year to be able to post classified ads. It is well worth it even if you never sell anything as it supports the site.

Probably been beaten to death but is there any way to know if your truck ever went anywhere?

Along these same lines, a friend who was in the Marines for a number of years (most recently in a motor pool) told me that, if your truck has an RFID tag on it, it was almost definitely overseas.

    Mutt Multifuel Engine Information

I don't know anything about that engine, but it is being listed by John Murray (TNJ Murray). John knows quite a bit about MUTTs and has a serious inventory of MUTT parts. So, if he says it is a multifuel engine intended for a MUTT, I believe him.

Added this to my HMMWV today.

    Very nice tribute!

    What's this?

There was an alcohol evaporation system that was part of an arctic kit for cold weather. It might be for the windshield washer (most M44 series trucks don't have a windshield washer), but I believe they were mainly for the air system.

    Building a m101 cargo box

Dave, I applaud your motivation, but why not just buy a bed. I have never fab'ed a bed...or anything for that matter...but I have to believe a lot of work goes into it. I know that some guys want your left b*** for a bed, but keep looking. Regardless, good luck with your project.

    Kirkland diesel oil

My feeling on oil is stick with a good brand name oil. I have no idea who refines Kirkland oil, but I would bet it is a big refiner. I have used NAPA oil, which used to be made by Valvoline. I also use Delvac and Rotella, among other brands. Guys get all crazy about oil brands like pickup...

    Humvee USMC Markings

As others have stated, I've seen stickers and paint. M813rc was in the USMC, I believe, so I'd defer to him. If you go with paint, which is what I plan to go with (since they is how they are applied on my M1165A1), you may want to research PAINT MASK. I have used this product previously...

    Help with unit numbers?

You would mess up your paint (and your truck looks clean from the pic), but you could sand down the tailgate to see if any unit markings are there under the layers. I have also seen unit markings on the hood. I bet they are there. It all depends upon how far you want to go to figure out where...

    M35 Variations Rarity

I suggest taking a look at David Doyle's book, which I believe is called Standard Catalog of US Military Vehicles (or something close to that). I believe he goes through all of the variants and even list a rarity score.
