Green is production, normally, solar is the green. Now that the generator is directly charging the batteries, it looks like the solar in the graphs (and feeds back into the grid as it was solar via the inverter interconnect agreement).
The red is usage. I have set up a number of other...
I ran the generator for over an hour this AM, and the tank dropped below 1/2 tank and refilled back to 3/4 using the aux pump. So it looks like the aux pump is a runner.
It was able to produce at 4.5kW. It blended in with the solar to make an interesting graph. You can even see the blip...
When it broke, it looked like it gave someone the opportunity to make it into an art project.
Your normal is just how my other one is and what this will be once the radiator has been repaired.
I have already re-routed the overflow line out the hole in the frame. It's one less place for a...
That's just the other side of the river from my wife's favorite place King Arthur Flour. It might be time to take the day off and drop by the presolite place and King Arthur, I will check with her to see if they have any classes that she would like.
As for the other one, once my next-door...
Mine didn't include the nipple, thus I don't have anything to solder in place.
I found a radiator place and just called them. https://www.yellowpages.com/lewiston-me/mip/lincoln-street-radiator-5214933 not exactly close, but they think that they can fix it.
I will now have to look for an...
I purchased a MEP-802a the other month, then went away:
https://www.govplanet.com/jsp/s/item/10023637
I am back and spent the last couple of weekends working on and off, on the new MEP-802a.
I had purchased it hoping to move the stator from this to my failed mep-802a.
I took most of the tin...
For heating water, a heat pump water heater can really reduce load. Mine is on a 30amp breaker, but peaks at under 300 watts running in heat pump mode.
I had removed 5&6 from the VR before taking the readings. I think that you can see that from the pictures if you zoom in.
As for the stator readings, my clips didn't like the bigger ends on the connections; thus, I removed the back side of each pair from TB3 and then used the ohm meter on the...
I have broken two voltage regulators so far.
Talking with Kurt (a great guy, he has been a great help with the 2wire start and the voltage regulator), he had me meter the wire from 5&6 on the voltage regulator.
I get 14.4 ohms between 5&6.
Between 5 & ground, I end up with 4.38m ohms...
I had ordered one of these, but I waited too long to return it as I left it for a couple of months before hooking it up.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B094VQ88X2/
It detects my batteries as 12v and then complains about being overvoltage.
I worked with the vendor, and they sent me the 2nd...
Thanks for all of the help! The new line is in and no longer leaking.
I hooked the back on and will button the top up after I swap the T's out.
I knew that I was going to have to swap the lines out, but kept on kicking the can down the road past the time the work should have been done.
If you could send a couple up my way that would be great, I suspect they will arrive a lot quicker than the vendor.
Two of them from the vendor is $1.30 + Est. ground shipping: $17.73.
Glad to send you $ via paypal if you wouldn't mind shipping them. I won't put the top on until I swap them...
I left my panel light on the other night, after running the generator for a couple of hours yesterday I went out today to install a battery tender to find that everything is covered in diesel.
My return line is leaking rather badly and the fan is moving it all around.
After I picked up...
