More engine problems (Documentation of testing fuel system, failure of Hyd Head)

I've had a problem with 100 percent oil, in the winter. Right now the M108 won't run, keeps getting air in the fuel system. Oil is just too thick for the lift and booster pump to get it going, think the booster pump is sucking a vacuum in the lines, and getting air in. Plan to change all the...

    M816 hot rodding ?

36,000lbs. Fuel economy isn't going to happen. Spend big money and drop a 400hp cummins in, then you will have some power, and burn a little more fuel. Just figure it's going to cost money to drive it. Or buy a M108 with a multifuel in it. Not as heavy duty, still slow, but burns waste...

how to swap a m35 steering box

There is a front motor mount plate, has two bolts, that you can jack the front of the engine with. Probably a good idea to never jack on the oil pan, they dent very easy, and can block the oil pickup. And none of these bolts are mm. 9/16, 3/4, 7/8, etc... Nice write up, I just explained how...

    Check your outriggers

Last time I saw it, was about 15 minutes ago. Yep, outriggers work, all 2 of them. I did grease them up when I got it. It's dead at the moment, bad starter, starter relay, and plugged filters. I'll fix it in the spring. Also, be sure they are pinned when traveling, or else they can slid out...

    New XM1061 Trailer

Yep, nice trailers. Make sure you have plenty of tongue weight when towing, I had loading mine too light on the tongue, it got to wagging, darn near wrecked the truck.

    Auto start

Not really. I kind of explained it in an earlier post. Used the ouput for the starter, from the remote start box, to a door lock actuator, that was connected to the throttle. When the starter was engage from the remote start, it would pull the linkage for the throttle. I think the actuator...

    Auto start

Newer remote starts have a voltage sensor for the alternator to tell when it is started. I have one on the 93 chevy stick shift gas, wired a switch to the transfer case lever, truck will not start unless transfer is in neutral. I also had one a 79 gas ford. When the starter engaged, a door...

    too much bandwidth required

I was just a kid, but we had a commodore vic 20. You would get a magazine with the program code, then type it into the computer to make your own games. Had a cassette drive, lol. Moved up to a 64, then a 128 before going to PC's. Back to the original issue, yes it he has a slow connection...
