Wish my deuce was like this

Here is why that one truck started knocking. Nothing to do with the fuel being turned up.. lol Well, I can't get it to embed, but here is a link. YouTube - H8 Recovery School Iowa Army National Guard Camp Dodge

    Deuce exploded view ?

There are various diagrams in the technical manuals of different parts of the truck, which are available for download for free on this site. The hoses you are referring to are usually called "slobber" tubes. They aren't necessary, they just vent any oil or blow by under the truck instead of...

    Ridiculous items flagged during inspection

In regards to your lights, if the 5 ton trucks use the same three lever switch that my deuce does, on the top lever, one click to the right is brake lights, turn signals. Two clicks to the right is all of the above plus headlights, tail lights. The lever on the bottom left controls your dash...

    A BRAND NEW M1010 for $14k?!?!?!

I seem to be against the grain with my opinion here, but I think it was a fair deal. Not great, but even with all new interior, you just can't get a truck to look that new. Even if you had to replace every seal, hose, belt, and anything else that was rubber, you would still be in it for less...

    Common Oil Pressure?

Could anyone point me to what TM would have that information? My truck runs at 120 psi all the time. I've not checked it with a known gauge yet, but it would be nice to know how when I start.

    Ouverson vs. Detroit

I don't know anything about the Ouversons, but I know Detroit's really aren't street friendly. I know people that run them and say they work fine (keep in mind, that this is in 1/2-3/4 ton pickups), and I hear of some people that say they don't. IMO, if I were going to spend the money to put...

    Humvee wheels.

Hello all, I ran across a web site today that has Humvee wheels 8 bolt on sale for what I considered to be a good deal. I have nothing to do with the site, just thought I would post it here in case someone was looking for some.. I don't think I'm breaking any rules, as I'm not trying to sell...

Crew Cab and Cummins swap questions-answers!

I remember reading somewhere that the control arms are weldable, and he posted in another thread somewhere where he got the leaf springs. EDIT: here is a link to the thread. http://http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce-modification-hot-rodding/29109-how-fit-14-00r20s-still-have-6wd.html

How to fit 14.00r20's (and still have 6wd ;) )

Looks good! And here I thought I was making a lot of progress on Saturday just removing three wheels/tires and putting one back on.rofl

You may try sending him a PM, he may not be subscribed to this thread, and may not know you're asking questions.

    1 Year, 6827 Miles

Maybe my butt is just tougher than y'alls, lol but I don't mind the standard box seat. I drove it home from Montgomery Al, about 10 hours, stopped a few times for food/drinks, but I didn't mind the seat too bad.

No power EGT's up there HELP

So if I read that right, you pulled the air filter out, and the pipe on the fresh air side of the turbo? Or you pulled the air filter and the pipe off the exhaust? And it still does it?

I am probably going to kick myself.

Just FYI, I had really good luck with Brake parts cleaner when removing my numbers off of my deuce. Spray on, wipe off. It was that easy.

My Bobbed Deuce is almost done

Hey Robr, what kind of drivers seat did your truck have originally? If it was a standard box, would you like to sell it?
