    M929/M930 Dump Box Floor Area?

Thus about 7 by 10 or 70 square feet and coming in at a whopper 140 cubic feet with 2 foot deep sides. Bringing the side boards up gets it to 280 and to the top of the headache "protector" then gets to around 420 cubic feet....minus what falls out the back. Length of deuce is about 12' and...

    M1061 modifications

Back in the GL days I bought an Isuzu diesel then mounted a rexroth hydraulic pump to it. This trailer seems like a good time to use it. Oh yes....have the governor too. Maybe I can extend the hopper a couple feet on the front and back to get around 1000 cu ft. Also if the floor was...

    M1061 modifications

A moving floor seems to be simple. I'm sure they are not. There are 3 slats. When they all move in one direction, the load is carried toward the door. Then they retract individually in a 1-2-3 sequence, where the materials slide against the retracting slat, until they are all in the home...

Reversing with the transfer case in low range

The center shaft in the box is at an extremely low angle and with torque on the shaft, climbs between the input gear and output, pushing them apart with extreme force, breaking the cast housing. Government in their infinite wisdom put a warning on the dash instead of fixing the problem in the...

    M1061 modifications

I'm looking for a sure fire way of unloading the ground wood and shavings and have been researching a live floor or walking floor. I've watched them in action and wonder about building one on the floor of the 1061. Let me know how the drive works if you have seen it . I could see just using...

Any electricians out there?? 120/240 Circuits Question

I don't work anything hot and don't recommend it to anyone. Black silicone is good. Put a big bead across the tops of all the boxes. When you move the aluminum wire out of the way while you drill and punch (or hole saw), the main lugs will all need re-torqued as they will likely be loose from...

Any electricians out there?? 120/240 Circuits Question

It appears to be okay location but those incoming lines are too close to work safely. The left side is less crowded. Being licensed, I break the seal on the meter, remove it and make sure it's open, install the conduit and wires and then put it back in place....then inform the utility what I...

Any electricians out there?? 120/240 Circuits Question

Sorry, I'm not up on the latest requirement for AFCI. How about a front view of your new panel? It really doesn't matter in this case, I would move the AFCI to the new box or go to the space that is not AFCI and put in tandems. As far as I know, tandems do not come in GFI or AFCI.

Any electricians out there?? 120/240 Circuits Question

Are you referring to a Ground Fault Interrupter as "arc fault" "due to lengthening the wires to the sub Panel" ? A ground fault breaker is sensitive to prevent your electrocution in case of you connecting the circuit, including ground. They are required in baths and kitchens......appears the...

Any electricians out there?? 120/240 Circuits Question

I would find 4 of the standard single pole on the right under the gfi and replace with 2 tandems, after checking to verify one of them is not heavily loaded, replace in 2 spaces and then put the branch in the 2 left. I'm not suggesting a non electrician get into your panel however.

Any electricians out there?? 120/240 Circuits Question

I can tell you what I would do, but I can't give you advise to change things in there without an electrician. Sorry

Any electricians out there?? 120/240 Circuits Question

Do you have an amp meter to check the balance of use on poles?

Any electricians out there?? 120/240 Circuits Question

Are these all labeled? Make a list of the left and right side ampere ratings and note the 2 pole or gfi or standard.

Any electricians out there?? 120/240 Circuits Question

I worked in engineering at Sq D Peru in 74 and know their line well. I'm bonded electrician. Take a couple photos of the present open panel. Wheelspinner is right, the 2 pole branch circuit will take 2 spaces. Breakers to 150 are available at low cost. Why are all of your spaces full? Do...

    Bobbing my deuce

Have you considered leaving the frame uncut? Then you have a space in front of the bed for spare and other stuff. Gooseneck...frame plated, spring with air bag photo.

Lock out hub damage - opinions

Why don't you take the lock off and see if the spline is aligning and sliding in and out freely? They are not very complicated inside.
