What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

It had a wobble side to side motion. Feltz is going to send me a different wheel. I did notice some sharp damaged edges around the center of the hub on the wheel after I got it home and took a better look at it. Hopefully different wheel solves the problem.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I wanted 24 bolt wheels and I wanted more not to have to change a wheel/tire/ run flat.. lol

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

As much as it was moving side to side I don’t think that will help it. That was my first thought when I seen it. I wanted shop to check it out before I started tearing it apart.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Finally got new old tires and wheels. They are a very nice set other than one that the tire shop couldn’t do anything with. They said it needed another 20 ounces of weight in addition to what it had on it. I watched the wheel/ tire go from side to side on the machine. Other 3 were perfect. Guy...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Mac Motors and I think they were 22.00 each. Mine were rusted inside and bulbs would go on and off. One worked perfect but I replaced them both.my good one wasn’t far behind the bad one. It was a time consuming job but it was worth it.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I replaced my dash light sockets and I put new bulbs in. Everything has to come apart to get to the screws that hold them in. I cleaned and polished up my gauges while it was disassembled. My lights work perfectly and cleaning the back of the gauges seems to give me more light

    M1123 Low Power

I’m capable of eventually sorting through my truck but I’m at the point where I want to ship it to Retiredwarhorses and have him make it a driver. I don’t know if I can afford it but it makes the most sense.

    M1123 Low Power

I have 1 of my trucks that’s a problem child and it develops issues while just sitting. I come out the other day and I have a coolant leak just about where the heater core is. I have fixed several fluid leaks and they seem to return. I think it is possessed and needs a minor exercism. I guess...

    M1123 Low Power

Cut it open and spread the pleats apart and see what’s really going on inside it. You are going to change it anyways.

Items you normally check 1st and need to repair and or replace?

I replaced it with a mechanical pump from the Hummer Parts Group HPG. There is a difference in the construction of the lever on the military ones. I don’t know if an autozone is any better or worse but the thickness of the arm was noticeable bigger to me.

Items you normally check 1st and need to repair and or replace?

I would change the mechanical fuel pump, probably in the top 5 of things to do. I have 2 trucks and one started leaking in a few hundred miles and the other truck had a bad pump off of the trailer. It let fuel into my oil and I glad I caught it before my truck ran.

    My 1st HMMWV from GP

Clean them with a baby wipe or something to get the dirt off and use aluminum polish and a microfiber towel to polish it back to new. Works on the Speedo sticker too

    M1123 Low Power

Looks like part of a Zeus fitting that came from the rear engine cover. You found it on the back of the engine right? Those 2 fasteners turn into those fasteners and that holds it on

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

It seems like less hot water going back into the engine has to make some difference. It gets hot here in Vegas and I think on our hottest days it will make a small difference. I understand that the system functions at a certain temperature and it doesn’t do anything to change that. If nothing...

Were non-turbo Humvees produced after introduction of the M11xx-turbos ?

I think they are confusing it with a Hummer H1 and I’m pretty sure the 1995 H1’s were the last year of civilian N/A engines. My 2002 Humvee doesn’t have a turbo on it. Hope I’m understanding the question asked? lol

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

This is it. Looks like a lot less hot water will bypass the radiator.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

This weekend I installed a Champion radiator! I had a lot of help from Retiredwarhorses. Thank you for your help. Radiator was 286.00 and free shipping. Got delivered almost overnight. Quality looked really good and fit was perfect and all holes lined up. I was having issues with it getting hot...

    HMMWV Fuel Issue

My M1123 was perfect and then it suddenly developed a condition when I gave it any pedal on cold start it would die. I ran some Diesel Kleen in maximum strength and it was amazing after a few hours
