    3116 turbo upgrade ??

MPG will very due to differences in weight of right foot. Mostly negative affect to MPG.. turbos add air to 1. Be able to add more fuel for more HP, 2. Assist in lowering EGT. In the TM range is the same for the 225hp and the 290. But experience shows if more HP is available it is used.

    Different LMTV canvases?

Not thinking to inside out it, but rather rotate it 180 degrees. I thought I had the same problem when I first put one on, and then I rotated it and it worked. I have two canvases here I’ll try and find numbers on when things dry out to see if they match yours I know one will be different as...

    Different LMTV canvases?

Can’t you reverse the canvas? Just a thought. Should have the same end flaps both sides. But it’s been a while since I have had mine rigged up

Registering an M1078 in Washington State

For scale weight I gave them the weight from the Tm and data panel. The to save money I registered it at 24k vs 26k. When I want to get heavy I’ll get a trip permit.

Post what is needed to Title an FMTV as an RV in YOUR state.

It’s not about commercial use or not, but rather weight. Progressive I believe puts commercial policy on anything over 16k gvwr commercial use or not. When I got my insurance I asked many questions and that’s what I remember.

Registering an M1078 in Washington State

Talk to them, explain what it is and what it’s not. Have photos, use fmtv sales photos of a more civilian looking one. And be ready to spend money as we get charged weight. I licensed mine for 24k. Good luck

    PNW Info Thread!

You are allowed to have an MRAP. It’s just that the U.S. GOVT isn’t going to sell you one of their old ones. You can buy one from another country govt and import it, or have a sweet DIY project.

    LMTV Missing Guages Question

In my experience, you don’t rob parts from a working truck to fix a broken truck.

Put my LMTV to work today.

I load the logs the easy way, loading up tonight’s haul. Two more loads I hope on Monday.

    front axle seal leak

Where is it coming from? Hub cover, hub cover plug, back side of hub? From the axle housing? There are 2 ctis seals, a grease seal, and rtv seals. More info would help. If the oil is on the back side of the hub, I have found that the ctis seals have failed, and you may also have oil in the...

    PNW Info Thread!

I hear that is what they will use to recall the hummer registrations. Also going to use it to collect all the bobbed duces. Then it will be up for auction on GSA.

Put my LMTV to work today.

The stakes are tougher than expected. Dropped a 2’ diameter maple on one, I thin the fact it’s got a cross beam inside makes it tougher. Also by heating with firewood saves me money to spend on the truck. It’s a vicious cycle.

Put my LMTV to work today.

A Cat 305 excavator with a thumb to load. My NH TC40DA tractor with forks to unload. Makes me want a dump lol.

A tow at 200 an hour doesn’t seem so bad. 600 to get it home. It’s such a short haul and they often come with minimums exceeding that. After you buy some parts for it, 600 will seem cheap. Cost me 3300 to get mine home.

I registered mine with no issues.

    Battery Apology

I spent a little more for known quality batteries for my gen. It’s the one thing when I need it to start, I really need it to start. Everything else goes the cheap route.

Part number for U-Joint in the front axle shaft ???

I was thinking the wrong part. Thinking back now, I wish I had taken more pictures when had them out. Any drive line shop should be able to source them.
