It sounds like whatever is blocking the drum is on the passenger side of the truck where the lever is. You can feel it in the lever when the drum hits the stopping point

I don't have the shaft for the Winch. The ATF is just hanging out in there. I've gotta find out why my pto doesn't stop moving first. No matter where I put the lever. Unless I'm skipping over neutral. Which is a good possibility.

Pulled all the kinked cable off the winch. Also filled the winch with trans fluid. Because there was no fluid in it. I found a leak behind he drum. I know trans fluid isn't supposed to be In it. I put trans fluid in basically so there is fluid in it and to flush it out. I still can't get the...

Read up on the winch. I'm having an issue with it. The clutch lever will not engage to in. At all. It's in the out position and does not free spool. If you pull the cable the drum will turn about half turn and stop. Like it's locked. Will not move any farther. The clutch lever will not fully go...

Bought and mounted a pto winch! I can't for the life of me get it to free spool :( I don't have the pto drive shaft yet. And I am trying to remove the cable as I am wanting to replace it. I can't figure out how to get the winch to free spool :( can someone help me out?

Changed the batteries on it. Accidentally left the lights on all weekend after messing with them and killed batteries

Yeah it's got the bumper, mount for it and pto for it but no winch!! It needs one. I'm going to go look at the one I found and if it looks to be in good shape gonna buy it. What do I look for with the winch? Do they have fluid in them or anything?

I found a pto shaft for $150. So for $450 could have a winch back on the truck. Wish the winch was never removed.

Possibly going to pick up a pto winch for the front of my m35a2. Someone took the winch before I got it. Found a winch on Craigslist for $300. Just need to get the pto shaft that goes to the winch.

That's most likely what I'll be doing.
