Has anyone tried to fit this pump in?

Pump showed up today, ( 9 days ahead of their estimate..) 1/2" hose (immersion rated) was tough to find, but it should be here in a couple of days. I hope I can get the wire plug off the original pump without having to peel it off like a spam can.... Has anyone come up with a better way to...

    newbie

Flipping hubs is FUN, pressing out the studs and then back in again... getting them adapter plates torqued on good and rolling them big ol' tires around.... it makes for a LONG day (or 2) if you do it by yourself.

    Fuel Pump Hose

Someone said the 1/2" comes off too easy and the 7/16" is tight but harder for it to come off.... (reading too many post has made me crazy).

Has anyone tried to fit this pump in?

I'll order the $50 pump and wait till it gets here, then I'll have the old one to clean up for a spare... Hopefully its not trashed, but I like the idea of the quieter and more psi unit. Nothing against an Olympic unit... I'll see if i can find the proper "in tank" hose while I'm waiting... (...

Has anyone tried to fit this pump in?

I've been researching this for 12 hours now... my pump gave up. Took off the primary, not even a dribble... but it still hums like it did before, so maybe the hose let go or blew out, we'll see. But if i'm going to be in there anyway, I'm thinking of putting this pump in. My question is the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I got my Donaldson muffler on with new pipe and flapper, but haven't started it yet.... Had to fab up a mirror brace ( i have bridge truck mirrors). The telescoping lower brace wouldn't budge (the threaded tabs just twisted and broke) so when i figured out how to brace the mirror, i had to weld...

    2.5ton Deuce muffler question.

I bought a 48" pipe from Jeggs, for $20. and step clamps for $10 each. With a straight pipe and flapper cap, I hope its not TOO tall, i can always cut it down.

    Clutch Return Spring

I know my throttle linkage has an offset that was on backwards, and I greased up the clutch/brake pedal pivot rod, and if it can be "over tightened" then that would be something i am sure i did. The clutch is smooth, the pedal just doesn't come back fully out like it did.

    Clutch Return Spring

Well, i dont have anything binding up, my clutch pedal is making full connection and has good travel.... but i catch myself pulling the pedal back out with my shoe tip... I know there is a spring on the brake pedal, but I dont remember one on the clutch.....

503 forbidden error show when trying to get on the site

I had the same forbidden stuff come up on me, when i tried to access the site from my old job. (on "their" server) Someone thought the content of the site was against some sort of policy (for "weapons" or some excuse). I wasnt able to get on SS for a couple of months (at work).... while others...

    Clutch Return Spring

Its an old post, but would this be the nut under the master cylinder access door? My clutch doesn't pop back like it did before.

    24 Volt Heater

I did find some duct reducers, seems like my diverter box has smaller (or a small and a large) duct port. and some suitable ducting and clamps that will connect up to my defroster diffusers (the driver side is going to be fun to reach). I can find the resistor (modern and/or a direct...

    Deuce fender to hood alignment

Never tried any paint and body work, my original paint is just faded, but looks good, my question is my passenger side fender. After a few head gaskets and then a full engine replacement, there has been a lot of "fat old man" on the fender.... so now my hood and side access panel on one side...
