What did you do to your deuce this week?

I took the Deuce for a drive, towing my m116A3 trailer to pickup a rototiller from a friend. Had two "fun" things happen on the trip and now have a word of warning for late Model Air Force deuces. Long story short, I developed a leak in the main frame line running back to my brakes for the...

I need to borrow an 87-89 USAF dual circuit master cyl. mount temporarily

How's this going? I just blew FL3 brake line yesterday so my trucks down for the count for at least a week while parts ship to me to replace the entire frame line run. That being said, I might be able to get time to pull mine off on Weds but will need it back pretty quickly. How long are you...

    Crane Ideas?

Looks like the major Pro is highway safety while changing a tire.. I most often see that from guys that have gone Super Single and need to store their tire in the bed of the deuce.

    Head Removal

it seems daunting but I also took my front grill, radiator and fan off. Probably an extra 30 minutes of work total. It was nice to get some extra room to work in the front of the engine bay. You could probably remove that water jacket while leaving the radiator in place but it definitely made...

The Centipede aka my new 1988 m35a2c

The cylinder head wrench I made to disassemble the heads turned out to be perfectly in line vertically. I used it this weekend to reinstall the heads after changing out the head gaskets. I should have gotten more photos but while it was apart I went ahead and installed spin on adapters from...

The Centipede aka my new 1988 m35a2c

I got my broken air intake stud out today. Thanks the fine guys on this forum, I followed the advice I found about soaking in rust penetrant for a few days and not being in a rush. I used a fine point center punch to get a good center point, then used a left hand drill bit, followed by a...

The Centipede aka my new 1988 m35a2c

It's been a few months since I updated the thread. Not a lot has changed, working on head gaskets right now. As well as building the canadian roof rack. I want to mount my 50" LED light forward and then a couple of side lights. While I've got the engine halfway dismantled I'm also going to...
