235-85-16 tires are a good height for a deck over trailer . The only issue would be lack of articulation with two sets of fixed springs. I would build something like this.

You could swap the axle for one with a lug pattern that matches the blazer. R&P carriages makes custom axles to order. a 6 on 5.5 lug pattern is a common GM.

It looks to me like a Pole trailer, that was made for a utility company. Tows with a lunette when empty, Uses a clamp on the pole end lunette when loaded. Looks civilian to me. It has potential though and could make a nice hauling trailer.

I found that 1 1/4" hitch receivers make great table attachment points.
