I had popping and hissing when I hooked up my alternator once...turns out the alt was bad.

Fixed it I had hooked up the wrong end of the light blue wire to my switch aua For further reference, the end that goes to the solenoid hooks to the switch.

If I'm not mistaken, the m1008 is a 1 1/4 ton truck. Just keep that in mind when you are buying your lift kit. CCATLETT44 has the 6 inch skyjacker lift on his m1008, and it looks great with his 35's.

Well, The 4wd worked again today, so I think that I'm just gonna take it easy on the brakes. It seems like when I locked up the wheels wile going about 20 the noise started. I think that just messed it up and I'll just not stop hard if I can avoid it.
