Even the m1009 can only go about 85 maxed out, so neither of them are speed demons. I regularly get blown by on the highway because i cruise at about 77 to keep the truck sounding happy.

The autozone relay is seven dollars and works exactly the same. I have one in my truck and it works perfectly. Part number is AC40 and it will show up as a blower motor relay but it is the same thing.

I just looked under my blazer and it seems to have a dana 44 front and GM 10-bolt rear. Just to add my little bit of info.

I am toying with puting humvee tires on my m1009. Do I have to get the humvee rims, or can I just put the tires right on my stock cucv rims. If I do need the new rims, can anyone provide me with links to the place to buy spacers or whatever you use to make them fit. Thanks,

I mounted mine on the inside of my passenger fender. More clutter but I didn't have to run the wiring across my engine compartment. There was also a hole in the firewall over there, which sure made things easier. here are the pics
