Great! Thanks so much for the assistance. I'd like to keep it as clean an install as I can so I'll check that site.
edit: Lol, been there a bunch, thanks for reminding me though so I didn't use a lame jumper!
My 09 has the civvy wiring adapter but only for a 4 pin, I need it to have a 5 pin for the coupler bypass to back the trailer up without the surge brakes kicking in. Readign through the stack of CUCV trailer wiring threads.. lol:drool:
Here is the 12V alt and a wiring diagram that came with it. Only question I have is if I can use the the deuce's ignition switch being that it is a 24V system to match the drawing?
Thanks! The tan isn't really an issue as much as the sun beaming in from my non-tinted windows.. I'm used to my "drug-dealer' tint on my everyday truck so this one kinda blows but it is on the list.
Far as I know the M1009 bridgeplate is supposed to be 2 3 3 4 and that is empty, laoded cross...
Pics of the change.
Primary
secondary
final
seemed to be a rusted spot in the final so I sanded it down and cleaned all three cans out, some redish junk was flowing out. Did that till they were both clear. Swapped the seals out on the oil and the primary but couldn't get them on the...
Holy shhhhhnickers.. I just changed the oil in the deuce and I got 2 1/4 5gallon buckets full of oil! It came out pretty soupy/watery so I would assume that diesel was mixed in with it..
Now, does this mean I have some kind of catastrophic issue? I know some diesels get diesel passing into the...
Way to go on Nat Geo!!!:driver:
I watched that with my family (we recently purchased one) and they were excited to see our truck and all the cool reasons to have a multifuel! Looks like you and your wife have a blast with it. Bravo!
Can anyone tell me what evaporator box that is in Dmans pics? It looks simiar to this

but this one at 15.75x13.75x5.7" seems like it wouldn't fit. Love some help tracking this piece down. Thanks!
Sounds awesome man!
We will see how it goes. It definitely wont be as strong as laying down straight to the floorpans, but I don't paln to beat this interior either as this will be more of a beach toy. The stick on stuff really helped with the noise and vibration but the cab is still a little...
Lol, thanks! I had a thought about the a/c setup. I'd like to run a large vent out the radio opening and use the "knob" holes to put the fan speed and temp knobs sticking out? Might be cool. Just hate to move or chop up the orig mil stuff like blackouts etc..
Need a cheap dash too!!
383 green would be cool too if you were going that route. I just like the Desert Storm/Iraq/Afgan look more.
Here are some more completed shots with seats in.
good advice, just did my trailer bearings and rotors so no biggy. Actually have the deuce pulled up to do all its fuel/oil filters and change the engine oil today and check the drivetrain and axle fluids. Then I'll hit the blazer.

Good idea on the rustproofing the bootom for the beach!
The gen1 light is lit until the engine revs over a certain rpm then goes dim or almost out. Have to check a little more with my meter to see output. The engine high idles for several mnutes then settles down also.
Finally got the flooring covered with the Durabak! Very cool stuff. I wil definitely being getting more to put down on the floor of the deuce.
Still have to paint the glovebox(i know) install rubber on the passenger door/window and do the a/c. Brackets for the compressor from NAP is like...
