    I just put an earlier dump body on a m931. It can be done but it is PITA.

    They keep the tire bead sealed against the rim. Use plenty of tire lube and squeen them into a bean shape with a ratchet strap to make it easier to get in.

    I agree with Mechanic. As much as the small cam 855 block is the same they are just as different. I know I put a big cam 290 in my M936. I love it.

    Sorry, to say but, it looks like you got your spring geometry wrong too. The shackle side Should be over the spring eye.

    1/4 channel is way to lite. Like lochjosh said, you need to use at least 5/8 plate and check the torque numbers on the u-bolts, it is going to be at least 375+

    Bobbing a truck is a bit of work unless you have lots of mechanical experience and fabrication experience. Sounds like you are doing your homework with is smart.

    I bobbed the truck in the picture. The owner is Charlie. That truck was a M931A2 and that is the original frame lenght. I have the springs to do the job at my shop. Give me a call, I am always glad to help out.
