What wheels are on your humvee?

You talking to me ? You can go and visit the Black Rhino website and see all the wheels they offer. As I said above I am running a 17x9.5 with the stock Hummer H1 offset on a 40x13.5x17 Cooper Discover STT Pro tire Which now seems to be the setup for these trucks..

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

I stopped by the shop working on my Humvee today and asked how the "magical" TV bracket worked out and I quote: "Your truck had one on it already, we just used what was there.." So, some of these trucks have this said to be extinct bracket ? I guess I now have one for sale ?

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

The kit was around $3500 I believe (give or take) from Mike over at Dirty Boyz Off Road. I also splurged and got a 4 speed shifter from him as well. Then around 8-10 hours of labor at my buddies shop to get it installed. Still have some road testing to do but from what they say it was literally...

700r4 4 speed transmission installed today. Look for a complete build thread on everything we did to my M998 in the past 8 months coming soon...

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

With their almost stock Humvee wheel look these are becoming the aftermarket wheel of choice on these trucks..

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

2/27/19 700r4 and stock transfer case bolted together and went into truck today with zero issues. TV cable installed , trans filled, lines to cooler ran, etc. From what the shop said doing the work the entire install was around 9-10 hours... Few more things need to be wired on the truck and...

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

My bracket came with the kit I got from Mike over at Dirty Boyz Off Road. Get ahold of him as he might sell you just the bracket.

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

The shop that is working on my truck is doing the trans swap. They specialize in complete road racing spec builds of Ferrari's and lambos so a trans swap in A Humvee isn't a huge deal for them. Exactly why I brought my truck to them in the first place. No matter what I want done or any crazy...

What wheels are on your humvee?

Black Rhino 17x9.5 in stock / civilian H1 offset (whatever that is). Cooper Discover STT Pro 40x13.5x17 tires. Truck has 2" spring & 2" body lift.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Got the back of the truck lit up like Christmas ! Did some LED marker lights in the civilian H1 location, LED third brake light, LED stock replacement tail lights, and a LED license plate light. Disregard the amber lights on both sides, as those were a wiring issue at the time of this pic...

    Plan B hard top

The C pillar had to have around 1" taken out of it and re-welded and the B pilar had to be "adjusted" so to speak to make work. Not a ton of work but more then just plopping it on and having it come out right.

    Plan B hard top

I sourced a hardtop from a slantback (with turret hole) and my buddies at BTR here in Chicago made it work. Lots of welding / fitting / swearing / modifing, but its now a permanent part of my M998. Both the B and C pillars had to be modified to make the top fit as it should. All is now seam...

    700R4 transmission in a HMMWV

After doing some looking into it I just bit the bullet and bought a new 4-Speed shifter from Mike over at Dirty Boyz Off Road (same place I got the trans kit from). Made no sense to go this far into the project and skimp out on something so small (and important) as the correct shifter.

    Dome light measurements?

You can buy LED dimmers to adjust how bright they are. I did the exact same thing with the LED's I mounted in the bed of my M998.
