Question: Has anyone installed the AC system made by restomod air?

No, but the person asking the question could reach out to the user in Florida who has installed the kit and possibly get his questions answered ? Ever think of that ? I doubt you did.

Question: Has anyone installed the AC system made by restomod air?

Dude on YouTube (think he is out of Flordia) did a video about this system in a Humvee. Might be worth a search...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Finally got my Led brake/ marker/ and reverse lights working as they should (pardon the crappy pic).

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I did the same but I used carriage bolts in various sizes to plug up holes in the body and cab. Don't have to worry about them popping out due to flex and vibration and when painted look like a factory rivet.

Hella h4 conversion or truck-lite style led?

If your talking headlights I went with a 24volt Truck-Lite "spotlight" and used them as headlights. Work super well and were a 1/4 of what a dual beam "headlight" costs..

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

I found them on Evil-Bay for pretty cheap. Kinda a RV hookup in a way. Can be modified to your liking as shown above.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

It's a male electrical plug that is wired to my two battery tenders to keep the batteries alive, block heater, and oil pan heater. Just plug in a extension cord and bam ! I have the block and oil pan heater on a separate switch so they aren't on during the warmer weather while the truck is...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Finished up the on board air system on my M998. Got a complete kit from the guys over at Air Horns of Texas dot com (great dudes). Vair 24Volt compressor, aluminum 10 gallon tank, Freightliner air horn with 150psi switch, etc. Mounted the compressor under the hood and wired it to constant power...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Is it me or does that brush guard need to be removed and flipped 180 ? I think the back is currently facing the front but I could be wrong...

    Mounting options?

I am kinda with the others as its your truck and do with it as you please. I don't like to drill holes everywhere, but to look at things abit different and maybe move things around or swap locations for things (if that makes sense). As in I removed the stock reflectors on the back of the truck...

    6.2/6.5l Turbo kits

A turbocharger doesn't know or care where it is placed In the system (so to speak) as long as everything is running as it should. if anything a rear mounted setup would keep the turbo itself (and EGT's) lower / cooler then being stuffed ontop of a hot motor in a cramped engine bay.

    6.2/6.5l Turbo kits

If your worried about "turbo lag" in a humvee you have the wrong vehcile my friend.

Looking to customize my shifter knob if possible?

Look into the hot rod world for "custom" shift knobs. Tons of good ideas that if you have a drill press and tap around can easily be adapted to a Humvee..

    Painting a M998

Is that FS34094 or "383" green ? Looks abit darker (and I like it)...

Has anyone installed a remote start system in their HMMWV?

A buddy of mine who works at a high end car stereo / detail / etc place here in IL is looking into this for me. Seems as easy as picking up a system designed for a 12volt diesel pickup application and using a 24/12 convertor. We shall see once he digs into my truck...

    6.2/6.5l Turbo kits

Random pictures I found online: Obviously each setup is different in size of turbo, number of turbos, size of inlet/discharge tubing, turbo placement, etc. With the amount of room with the stock muffler gives up once removed I cant see this being a issue on a Humvee. We will find out come this...
