What did you do to your deuce this week?

Cute helper DB! Why did you have so many holes in your cab?

VIC to Cellphone Adapter and Military Radio Digital Modes Adapter

I was thinking more something like this inside the box Augi is already building: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32791315716.html

What did you do to your deuce this week?

The intercom box is to the right there, but this post was about the cargo light in the center. Yes the VIC-1 intercom system uses headsets. Mine has 3 stations: driver, passenger and cargo area.

VIC to Cellphone Adapter and Military Radio Digital Modes Adapter

This is pretty interesting but any chance of making one that uses bluetooth instead of the headphone jack cable?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Got my cargo light installed in the bed. I'm really happy with how this came together. First try, I wasn't getting ground. Had to take it out and scrape a little paint off. Now it works great and I think looks great--very natural place to mount it. (yes, the switch is on in the pic. It's not...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Thanks! I really debated about putting that one station on the top of the transmission tunnel but 1) if I put it behind the seat down low it would be really hard to reach, and 2) by making this the "commander" unit I can wear it and adjust my volume while driving.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Installed 3-station VIC-1 intercom. I've had it since 2012, finally put it in the truck and all wired and hooked up and working. One of my headsets has a bad mic I found, got a couple replacements on the way.

    Decal prep

Where's a good source for Deuce decals these days? I'm FINALLY going to finish my paint job this spring and I'll be looking for some. Decals or stencils.

    M35A3 tach fixed itself?

When I bought my deuce the tach jumped like a sugared-up 12 year old on a trampoline. After a few days driving it fixed itself also.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yep that is the exact same light and that location is where my other one goes.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Found that the removable plate at the front of the bed is the perfect size to install one of my 2 interior lights, so got it cut out and started that process. Installed LED headlights. Installed my VIC-1 amp / control panel.

    New LED headlights alternating brights

Yep I had wires swapped on the passenger side. Working fine now. I don't remember where I got them but I've had them for years now. Logo on the bottom says Truck Lite

    New LED headlights alternating brights

I just installed new LED headlights in my deuce. When I turn the switch on, one is on high-beams (both top and bottom of LEDs are lit up) and the other one is not. When I step on the brights switch, they SWAP--the one that was bright goes to regular and the one that was regular goes to brights...

    Dead Deuce

Yes my Deuce had a "Solargizer" brand 24v trickle charger when I bought it of KY National Guard base in Frankfort. They are still available looks like (though a bit pricey)

Can the turn signal connector be re-wired?

Seen in that thread: "I was wrong. It wasn't the blinkers not blinking, it was the indicator light on the turn signal switch not illuminating when the blinkers were on. Poor grounding of the switch to the column." Does the turn signal device need to be grounded to the steering column? I...

Can the turn signal connector be re-wired?

Thanks guys. Let me figure out if the wires are the problem first. My interior turn signal indicator light has quit working, but the bulb is good. I'm thinking maybe it's the solid-state flasher inside the fender?

High oil pressure on a truck that has sat for a long time

Hmm, that’s on the opposite side of the engine. I think the two of you are talking about two different things. Of course an oil pressure regulator sounds like it might be related to my problem though! So I will check out the oil pressure regulator also, but can anyone confirm I've circled the...

High oil pressure on a truck that has sat for a long time

Looking at the TM and then going out and looking at my engine...I can't find it. Any help with a pic? Is this it? (circled in red)

Can the turn signal connector be re-wired?

Sounds like a “no” for most people then.

Can the turn signal connector be re-wired?

M35A2 turn signal connector, I have 2 but both in pretty rough shape. Can they be disassembled and re-wired? I don’t see how...
