    Gen2 light on

Not sure if anyone can predict that you'll make it or not. But with that said, Gen 1 is supplying the 12Volt power for the truck, You should be ok. If Gen 2 gives out the rear Battery could die preventing you from starting. Now we'll see if I'm correct in my thinking. Wiggle the two wire plug...

M37 / Civilian Power Wagon axles different?

Yes. The complete center section bolts right in or out. You will only need to change the drive yoke. Keep in mind if your M has different ratio than the PW, and you swap the Diff., you'll have to change the front to match. Tom

M37 / Civilian Power Wagon axles different?

The track width is different. The M37 is narrower. One rear axle is shorter, don't remember which one. Same in front, however both front outers are the same. The center section (Diff) will swap between the two, same as brakes, hubs, drums. Tom

M37 square lock washer / body washer questions

Check with John at Midwest Military. http://www.midwestmilitary.net/ I think he had some made. Also Charles Talbert at M series rebuild http://www.mseriesrebuild.com/ He uses modern fasteners on his rebuilds. He usually offers up buckets of used OEM fasteners for sale. Tom

    Alternator part

That part has nothing to do with the isolated ground. Some Alt. have that resistor some don't. The isolated ground Alt have plastic washers insolating the voltage regulator, and other Internal components from the case. Tom

Factory style floor covering. Who's the best?

No. I don't think so. Been awhile. Was just the standard oem style rubber mat. Dash was a NOS that I had years ago. Tom

Factory style floor covering. Who's the best?

That is the top before it was tucked behind the floor duct and pinned in the corner. Once it lays out a while it flattened out nicely. Tom

Factory style floor covering. Who's the best?

The LMC mat I put in 3 years ago fit well and is holding up very well. I do have L/R floor mats too. Drive almost every day. Tom

    Air Governor Gasket

Yes. The governor on the M35 is remotely mounted, don't need the gasket. On some truck(most) mount the governor to the air compressor. Then You need the gasket. Tom
