Mike,
Thanks for the "Heads-up" on the rally. Not too far and sounds like fun. Baking rack set new or used will be OK if MitchG has a set to sell.
I wonder why these sets are like hens teeth to find.
SCSG-G4,
Where is the VA rally going to be held? I tried to PM MitchG with no response. If you bring your racks to the rally, I'll bring my calipers.
If you hear of someone willing to part with a complete set of racks, please steer them in my direction.
Thanks!
Does anyone have a complete set of baking racks for the M59 Stove? Looking for dimensions and material of each rack including cut-outs and chain/rivet locations.
If someone is willing to trace/measure the racks and send me the info, I'll make up some formal drawings and post them to the...
When I am making a turn the steering linkage will make a "pop" sound one time about half way through the turn. It does not "pop" when straightening out the vehicle after the turn.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is the condition related to the air assist system?
Under the Deuce replacing the hand brake shoes. I need to loosen the top adjusting screw (5/8" #2 in pic). Tight space and I need more torque. I've Kroiled it.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Just called Progressive and they will not insure M35A3 for personal use in VA due to the size of the vehicle. Has anyone been able to insure a M35A3 in VA and which insurance company was it?
Thanks.
Can anyone direct me to someone who repairs RT-524 radios? I used an AN/PRM-34 to test one of my 524s and the REV power and FWD power were weak (out of spec). Also needs frequencies adjusted.
Thanks!
I'll check that "lift pump" failure possibility. I am also going to see if removing the fuel cap eliminates the vacuum. If so, I will most likely have to run the fuel tank vent line independent of the main vent line. Thanks for the help!
Has a fording kit. Manual states a clogged vent filter will cause vacuum in tank/fuel problems. Thanks for suggestion on checking oil. Several important items are also attached to the main vent line.
Just found this on:

Don't Modify the Air Intake System...
My M998 just sprung a leak. Diesel is dripping out of the air cleaner housing. Does anyone know how to correct this? I suspect fuel tank vent line/filter.
