H1 heated glass in hard top HMMWV windshield frame?

You are describing an M1151/52/65/67 frame, which have no vents. They use a plastic external plenum to deliver air to the glass. You need and M1025/26/44/45 frame which is identical to the soft top frame except for corner mounts and snubbed holes. You can buy the mounts and plug the snubbed...

Sheared Ground bolt off starter while installing ground harness

In a pinch a coupling nut with locktight will work without dropping the starter.

New Cummins HMMWV project in the works!

It had to come out Augi, for the TH400 had to be pulled (the pump failed), so why not pull the body! I had a complete power plant ready to go so it was quick, correct and easy!

New Cummins HMMWV project in the works!

This is what happened to it! http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?115558-HMMWV-eye-candy-again!&p=1451356&highlight=#post1451356 I then sold it and it was sold again to another guy that put a slant back kit on it and sold it... The 6BT is now in an H1 in Texas with a 47RH Transmission...

    Speedometer drive Pinion

#24 is the Pawl (IIRC) and it is required and they do wear out, Used in the 218 and 242 and the electric speedo setup. #1 is readily available and should not be $123. I may have a spare. Ill pm you tonight if I do. Check 17 and 2. 2 will break sooner or later. 17 can be installed poorly...

Did you open the commanders door and look at the placard on the b pillar sail panel? Should say on the top right corner what it was. M1025/26 and has mounts for MK64 iirc. A0 truck.

    Light bar pics

After market wheels to run larger tires

With good front springs then I would think that a 1" lift is okay, else 2". Do the same for the hood too. FYI, once you approach 2" or greater, you may run into a few things: Steering column shaft to steering gear will rub on the lower end of the opening through the fire wall, Shifting linkage...

    HMMWV Battery Drain Overnight

Once you isolate the gen and starter (one at a time) and you still have the draw, then check wires and bulk head fitting for 24vdc positive stud. An assumption is being made that you do not have a 4L80e and TCM.

    M998 Geared hub drain plug

I weld a bolt to it and turn it out. Steve's way works great also, I just like welding!

Glow plug light quick flash then off?

Loose connection somewhere. Disconnect batteries when checking connections or you may be buying an new box.

After market wheels to run larger tires

H2 rims will fit but the offset may set them out a little. A stock M998 with fresh springs should be able to house a 38" tire, you will need to adjust full lock. If front end is sagging, then that needs to be addressed before any other mods or lift the tub.

Glow plug light quick flash then off?

I see you installed new batteries. Make sure they are fully charged and good connections (as Steve says). Low voltage will cause this and may cause your control box to crap out.

    Anyone bypass the PCB?

I had a hmmwv that this was done to. It worked fine as long as you were not overheating the glow plugs buy keeping the lit up too long.

    Anyone modify the battery compartment?

The divider is also used as a load wall for the seat base and the commander's arse.

    Getting close to finished

Steve, you are missing the insulation rod clip on the commanders side. Are you slipping...lol
