Thank you man. I've been busy here lately so I haven't had much time to get on the forums so sorry for the late reply. I'll look into that site. Every time one of those old Canadian 5/4 tons pop up on Kijiji I try to download the photos. Just go keep as a reference when I go to build a clone
Any door numbers I could use? (Like 89c,19c,880,ect) there's a junkyard close to me that has a ton of parts for those trucks I might be able to dig around and find all the parts I need. I also found out the blackout lights are the same ones used on the Jeep in the u.s
That's very cool to hear that you drove one back in the day. I've been wanting to find one for a while but I figured cloning one would be my best bet (since those trucks are very rare) I have a 76 Chevy k20 (civilian model) truck sitting outside. That's setup to be very simaller to the Canadian...
If y'all don't mind me reviving a old thread. Im looking to clone on of those Canadian 5/4 ton Chevy trucks with my 1976 Chevy k20 (my first truck) im looking for paint scheme photos, interior photos, ect. But for my truck I want to make it a flatbed dually.
Me and my grandpa were sitting out in my dads truck. I showed him a photo of a c.f. 76 chevy. He says they are great trucks he loves them (he's a farmer) he says there great farm trucks. I have his old 1984 chevy c30. I was thinking would one of those c.f. 5/4 tons make a great truck to convert...
I have a question. Can you use the tintable bed liner as a paint job on a military truck? I've seen it done on a few civilian vehicles but no military vehicles. I was thinking of getting a old Canadian military chevy and I was wondering if I could paint it with tintable bed liner cause I do want...
Sounds awesome. I know a guy that loves the straight 6s. Are you gonna paint it green? If I was to do a cucv I'd do a cummins 12 valve so its still a diesel. But I'm not looking at a cucv. I'd love to have a canadian 5/4 ton (5qaud)
