    84 1008 build.

Hey seen your post on my 76 Canadian 5/4 ton project. That truck of yours is looking great. That era of 454 is a good choice cause of the free"er" flowing heads. I'm really torn between the choice of converting my 76 to a automatic or keeping it a 4 speed. The military truck I'm cloning it after...

1976 chevy 5/4 ton clone build

Thank you. I hope it turns out to be a pretty cool build. I was also told it's a relatively low mileage engine as well. I'm planning on putting a mild cam and headers on it.

1976 chevy 5/4 ton clone build

It was in the truck when I got it. I plan on keeping that engine in the truck to kinda add a little bif of a twist to the clone. Not many people do Cadillac swaps.

    Canadian 5/4's hanging out

Hey quick update. I picked up some bucket seats for a jeep. They were sitting in a older gentlemans barn. I pointed them out to him and told him I was wanting to clone a military truck. He gave them to me for free. They do need some cleaning but they are really close to the military truck seats...

    Canadian 5/4's hanging out

Well thank you for the reply. I figured I'd just make up some random number if I had to. I've heard of "89c" so I'm thinking a little more along the lines of "85f" if it isn't already used on one of the originals or someone's clone
