I blew a rear yoke on my blazer, took out the drive shaft, taped a taco bell cup around the t-case to keep the fluid in and drove it about 125 miles home, no problems, kept it under 50 to be safe and took corners slow... ide say go for it, just be careful!! BTW, at the time it was a crappy 10...

Not sure if this is set up any different than a civi truck, but i had that problem on mine, the brake light switch tested fine when it was either in or out, but was very intermittent anywhere in between, (like when you just barely tap the brakes) and another time like lurch said.. just a &^$ty...

Made some progress! As Treeguy said about that angle iron, he was right only limited adjustments... But the fella that put together my passenger door flipped the little angle iron limiters upside down- thats what was letting it over extend, flipped em over and it was good. Now the drivers side...

Its also possible that also might saturate the wood and make it bloat and do more bad than good, paddle bit seems like the best idea!!

Oh yea, and the passenger side seems to WAY over extend, probably almost 2 inches, is that normal???
