Yah, big thanks to Wes for facilitating the pick up and dragging my steerless M966 from TX to NC, and much thanks to Wheelspinner for providing prime yard ornament space allowing me some time to come down and collect it. Now I have to plan my grand tour of NC to pick up needed HMMWV parts at the...
After some light research, I see that the Koch system is two independent belts per seat and while cool, probablh more of a PITA for casual use, so I will likely go for the standard 3 point belts by Key Systems.
Howdy,I have been shopping the various NOS 2 point seat belt kits floating around the interwebs. Can anyone provide insight into which is the best/most current revision?
I have seen talk of the kits manufactured by H. Koch & Sons as being the most best/most recent revision available? How do the...
So this kit is mostly just seal/bearing drivers? For hubs and transmissions?
What common service jobs is this kit useful for?
(apologies for the newb questions)

Is there a lower rate for tracked vehicles?
No worries, simp5782 is going to take my new turleback halfway from TX and I will handle the home run with my lowly pickup. You guys need less axles! ;) $17 on the Throgsneck for tow vehichle and 2 axle trailer.
Yup, that last stretch once you cross the GWB is no joke and easily adds another ~$50 in tolls. The roads are straight out of Mogadishu. Actually, the roads and locals in Mogadishu are likely more civilized than the locals and stretch of 95 east of the GWB ;) I have always done my own...
Howdy folks,
It looks like I will be needing transport this week or next for a rolling, but not running HMMWV from Oskosh, WI 54901 to Queens, NY 11101. I would be happy to keep the job within the Steel Soldier family (we all need a way to fund this addiction), but am open to your preferred...
Congrats, but as stated, that is a loooooooooooooong drive in a HMMWV. At the end of your trip, you are either going to really love it or really hate it :-D
Pack ear plugs and a rubber hemorrhoid ring. You'll need both!
I'll let others more experienced chime in, but while convenient, the Rapco colors seem a little off and the rattle cans seem not to be pressurized enough as the spray pattern is not always ideal.
Sub'd for more info.
Good luck. This is exactly the type of proactive effort we need to ensure the future viability of our hobby. While I MD law may not be controlling where many of us live, there is no doubt that a ripple effect is a real concern. Thanks in advance for your efforts.
Thanks, @Retiredwarhorses. Yes, my plan is to keep everything mil-spec, either "original" or as it could have been, if Uncle Sam were to let us have the good stuff intact. :-D
