Scavenging Fuel - Can a Deuce Do It?

i bet it would smell just like bacon, i was looking at some bio fuel websites they throw around terminology that gets me lost, like Titration and so on, maybe this is where mangus needs to step in and educate, it would be nice to know the easiest way to gather your animal fat and easily add...

Scavenging Fuel - Can a Deuce Do It?

its easy to get caught up in the SHTF situations, most important to me is fresh water, you can make it lot more days with water, so have a place in mind where there is some shelter and a well, or fresh water lake, Water, Shelter, hopefully you have a wood burner or fireplace, and some way to...

Scavenging Fuel - Can a Deuce Do It?

first off, i do not think the common FILL ports are syphon-able, i believe they have a valve at the top that stops flow if the fuel tank level gets too high, so the Fill port i do not think you would be able to get fuel from, how ever if you were about to gain other access to the tank, i...

driving the a3 down the road is like night and day to a a2, that automatic is great. CTIS, big tires, Dual Brake circuits, Electric wipers, Great millage, padding and muffler, you can have a normal conversation in one while going down the road!

    Deuce back axles

lol, not all the 818's have lockers my brother found out. the 3 depots he bought didn't have them, he was quite bummed, i was told only the 818 for the marines had the lockers in them, not sure if that is true or not.

    Deuce back axles

you could weld the spider gears, around here they call that a Lincoln locker. it would be real cheap. if you are running the ndt tires would probably be fine. if i lived in alaska or montana, or some where out there like that i would totally weld them up.

    Registering a Bobbed Deuce.

on the title it does not say how many axles it has, the only thing that acutely changes is the weight according to the title. my brother sold about 6 or 7 shortened m35's and he always just gives the title, they register it and never have any issues.

wow i didn't realize they were only 25a, that gives alot less to work with! and i thought the 60a ALT was kind of low. if dug has one of those he would have his 13 Year old remove that in a jiffy!

The Deuce as my backup generator

this is what i would do, Add another 24v Alt to your duce, or retrofit it with a high output variant, 120 amps or more, then buy one of these Buy.com - AIMS 5000 Watt 24 Volt DC Power Inverter 2400 watt (continuous) 24v inverter. Should take about 100 amps to operate, but i am sure you are...
