My uncle is a welder and from what I recall him saying it is not a good idea to weld any of the thinner pressure lines unless you really know what you are doing.
I wanted to do some thing similar to an air line on some thing else and he mentioned welding it could weaken the line and under...

BTW you guys with large TM libraries should think about scanning those manuals to digital format so they are saved forever.
Now I don't know much about these things but I have seen special misters with UV die used to find air leaks in other applications. I think the dye can be bought at autozone.
It looked just like that except it had a Nato markings on the driver side. I did not notice the skull marking though. Maybe they added the Nato markings since that pic was taken.
I was driving my M38A1 this morning and was turning around in the Barton middle school parking lot. I saw you turn at the intersection in a Tan HMMWV with NATO invasion stripes...
Any of you guys, this road is not exactly a route I would expect to see a military owned HMMWV to be traveling?
Keep an eye on the rubber, I did some thing similar with a part in the past and the rubbing alcohol also took some of the oils out of the rubber. A few months later it had cracks in it. From what I recall there is a product you can buy to prevent this.
Yea I would replace the lines. I tried to save the lines on my 52 m38a1 and it caused more problems then it was worth. All it takes is a pin hole in one of the lines and it screws up the entire breaking system.

Well I could not find any with the post I need but i did find conversion post.
Also discovered just one of my batteries was dead. I wonder if I should put the new battery on the front or back tray.
