I am always amazed by what some people notice on these pictures. The funny thing is that I had looked at the truck before but didn't notice anything. I guess I don't pay attention to detail.
I think one of the problems is that when you have a specific problem and start searching too broadly you will give up after reading a few threads that don't really answer your question. You can also try searching with more focus but sometimes the threads you find will mention your question in...
By the looks of the paint job, I would guess they were using it for urban hunting with the chain link fence camo job.
I have nothing practical to add but am starting to kick around the idea of getting a M1009.
Another neat one that I have seen is The Box O' Truth - The Buick O' Truth .
I don't consider a 9mm pistol "high powered" but it went through the driver's side door into the passenger compartment and lodged in the passenger side door. I think the Buick he used probably had more stuff (power...
I agree then you could have some chains and have a little work station instead of working off of the front fender or sideboards. Plus if you used some diamond plate or something thicker it would probably be more secure.
It sure is fun spending other people's money
Ha! They probably only have one and it is in Rochester, MN. That is for a 40's or 50's Chevy truck water pump gasket.
Ask me how I know! $8.00 in shipping to find that out.
Note to self: Always look at picture on the NAPA guy's computer screen before ordering.
I also bought the small HF needler and it worked pretty good. Much quicker and easier than using a sandblaster with too small of an air compressor. I think the small ones at HF are around $20.
Oh, they ordered me a 5131 gasket but it had to be shipped from Omaha, NE. The gasket was $2 and shipping was $4. When I went to pick it up it was for a 46-51(?) chevy 6 cyl engine water pump. I got my $2 back but had to eat the shipping. I will defiantly ask to see the picture on their...
I went to Napa to get the primary fuel filter gasket and they said they don't carry 5131 anymore. I replaced the primary but probably threw away the gaskets that came with it. Any ideas?
I changed my fuel filters awhile back and now my deuce is getting hard to start so I am figuring I am getting some air in through my primary fuel filter as I didn't replace the gasket. I went to Napa to order a 5131 gasket and they had to order it. I went to pick it up today and it was for a...
I didn't see a spec on the electric pump on the Load Hog. You are right that would be pretty quick and easy especially if you didn't have to buy their pump.
I'm not one of THOSE guys
Well I finally bit the bullet and made a trip to Mill's Fleet Farm and got all my bits and pieces for my filter setup.
I went from a 3/8" hose on the sandblaster to a 3/4" hydraulic filter which has a bypass so I don't know how well it will work. Then to a 1" filter...
