You might want to consider putting a trickle charger on your batteries while they are in your basement.
Stabile makes a diesel formula now. I would squirt some in and top off your tank. I am not sure if their fogging spray is good for diesel engines.
I tried to pull the stump out but all that I got were 10 muddy tire prints where I scalped the grass. I was scared of getting a run at it and tearing my truck up.
I think if I would have had some weight in the back I might have done better.
That's funny. He was over to our mutual friend's (who is building a house) yesterday around lunch time and I was over there in the late afternoon so I just missed them. We got to chatting later and he mentioned that Curt went with a buddy to help his uncle get three deuces from IA. I thought...
Was the friend who helped with you cousin named Curt and had a bum knee?
Nice looking recovery. I am glad everything went well.
Oh, and if this is like the Price is Right, I will guess 13' 1.25"
Back when I was in the guards we had stopped at a truck stop to refuel. I noticed my buddy (a supply guy) at the same pumps as the trucks trying to get the nozzle into the tank of a gasser Econoline van. I told him it took gas and he said, "I thought all military vehicles took diesel."
Sounds like fun however I am a bit limited by finances right now. I have to get new batteries and my tabs are expired. Let me know when you plan on going if the money situation changes for me.
Nick
We had some strong straight line winds this morning after a thunder storm rolled through and it took down to box elder trees. Dragging the trees off is much easier than dealing with them in place.
I accidentally backed into the stump (didn't there used to be an "embarrassed" smiley face?)
I noticed mine was doing the same thing the other day. I had it in low range, front axle DISengaged, and I wasn't giving it any throttle. I was on grass if that makes a difference.
In Minnesota we are mandated (forced) to buy at least 10% ethanol in all grades of gas, so you still have to worry about the ethanol's problems. I have read some articles about even E10 doing bad things to small engines and boat motors. I would avoid E85.
