Buying a M1009, would like some second opinions.

Love my O9! She is Daily Driver and rarely lets me down. Glow Plug Relay and Glow Controller Card are the only items that have struggled with. After a couple years they just fail? Keep a couple laying around for GP. The rest has been normal service related items that you would expect with...

Looking for pictures of the original M1009 spare tire mount.

Does anyone have a Flange in position # 2 they can part with? Have been unable to find one of those. Thanks in advance

    Oil fill / vent cap

Stant says replace every 30k miles. Any thoughts? I cleaned mine up in solvent tank, blew out with air, let dry and reinstalled. Seems to be fine.

    K&N# E-1690 Fit?

So much for easy way out! K&N ran my VIN and told me that they could not match it up. The story deepens! Now they want me to measure all dimensions of existing Fram that fits. Then go to their Website and match up dimensions off specification(s) list of E-1690 and another element. They are...

    K&N# E-1690 Fit?

Called K&N today and they asked me for Mold #'s off Filter. Will see what happens? Compared existing Fram to K&N and they look very close! Wall thickness and diameter is a little off. Must be what is not allowing Filter Housings to mate. Do I need to put my Micrometer on them K&N? More to...

    K&N# E-1690 Fit?

Decided to spend the extra dollars for K&N# E-1690 Air Filter for my M1009. Cleaned and inspected housing before installing. All seemed to be as it should. Top cover does not seem to go all the way down and mate with bottom half of filter housing. Do not want to over tighten and squash out...

Nifty way to mount rear license plate. Want to mount mine in similar fashion. Is it hinged with springs or something for bottoming out off road?

    cucv 12 volt connection where?

Further away from Firewall and existing access to Cabin. Suppose we could go the distance if that is more sound decision?
