I was told the hour meter is true at 1500 RPMs. I have not verified this. I am going to be going on a trip in a few days, so I will check it out. If it is run like an speedo, it should be able to be true at all RPMs. The Tach is cable driven like a speedo.

How are you going to power the electric motor? The stock alt won't cut it. You would have to put a big alt on the engine to keep the batteries charged to feed the compressor motor.

I got 7 tires on the truck. I still need to fix the hydrolic head. It was time to go, so we took the wife's jeep. I am going to enjoy a few days of my vacation and I should be back having fun working on the truck by the weekend.

The front tires are old Ford 22.5 wheels with bus tires. It really smooths out the ride.
