    m135 wheels for super singles?

If I'm not mistaken M135 is a single rear wheel truck. The M211 is a dual rear wheel truck. The M135 wheels are offset to give a wider track width but they are the same width as the M35 wheel, 7" I believe. The M211 wheels would be similar to M35 wheel offset. The ebay axle looks to be a dually...

    5 ton turbo

A bit, its not a show, its a go truck. :) Funny, it hadn't leaked a drop when I bought it? It had been sitting for over a year before I drove it home. After a few runs it started leaking from all over. Not much oil loss just messy. Was nice and clean before I drove it home. Oh well, just a...

    engine pickup in pa

Does he have a way to load it on the back of my deuce? Is it on a pallet? Can they unload it at the dock? I could possibly do it for you with more info. Unless someone is closer? I would only ask for $$$ to cover fuel costs. Let me know!

    engine pickup in pa

If spicergear is in Dauphin, he is about 1-1/2hours from me. Wondering why he can't run it to loading dock? just curious? I only have my deuce to carry something of that weight. Maybe possible.

    Pyrometer installation

It smells until the temp lowers under 1200F. Only over 1200F for up to a minute. As soon as I crest a hill the temp will drop down to around 900 in about 30 seconds. The temp flucuates from 600 to 1100 pretty quickly under load and drops just as fast when cruising under 55mph. Its about 1100F at...

    Pyrometer installation

Well I ran the truck and noticed the temp max at 1250 going up long hills. :jumpin: Will have to replace the air filter and take notice of any change. If not, :nono: then I'll turn down the fuel a bit. I smell a funny smell when it nears 1200F?

    Pyrometer installation

I finished the installation and it's all back together. I started it up and all is working correctly. I have some wiring to do to it tomorrow and then I can take it for a test run. [thumbzup]

    Pyrometer installation

    Pyrometer installation

Thanks, I didn't mention that this is NOS. Paperwork is dated 1/81. It looks like a #4971. It is a bi-torque meter that requires a 12volt source. I'm gonna look for the SW resistor in their catalog.

    Pyrometer installation

Thanks, It took me some time to find the right gauge for the right price. Found it on ebay. It's a Stewart Warner so it closely matches the stock gauges. It cost me less than $100 and it is NEW. [thumbzup] Now I just have to wire it for 12volts and install the probe. Sweet deal, so far.

    Pyrometer installation

Just wanted to show some pics of my gauge installation in the dash panel. [thumbzup] I didn't want an external mount. As I looked at the panel I figured I could do some rearranging of components for a stock look. I think it turned out well. :scool: Now for the panel re-install and the pyro...

Posi / spool / open rears WHY WHY WHY

Firestone or Akuret makes excellent traction tires in 9.00x20, 10.00x20, 11.00x20 sizes. You should be able to locate one of these at a tire dealer. The Akurets were, about $40 or more, cheaper (each) than the Firestones and they have greater tread depth. Firestones look similar to swamper tread...
