DIY camper box construction- what sizes/wall thickness steel or alu have you used?

Right, torsion free is what it needs. But finding a platform that doesn't flex when off-road and crossing a washout might be hard. I am in no way shape or form saying it can't be done. Allowing some flex is what I want to have a margin of error or to have the box itself add rigidity.

Right, w/out the protocol or www subdomain. But either way there is a redirect so each URL goes to the same place. Have you tried the steps without an admin account? It looks like there are special permissions in place for the classifieds and maybe there is an issue for accounts that have...

DIY camper box construction- what sizes/wall thickness steel or alu have you used?

I looked into the Total composits kit. The insulation is attractive. But the pieces are glued together and can't handle the flex that occurs off-road.

J1939 diagnostic code reader. Anyone using it?

Whatever J1939 hardware you buy, make sure it is quality. You don't want some chinese knockoff to short out your system. They draw power from the data bus. Drew Tech is a great brand. They test in-house, but they are expensive. As for software, research OBD2 PID's and what CAT, Allison and the...

    Damanged planetary hub on MTVR

Interesting. When the shaft was put all the way in there wasn't any noticeable play. Maybe get some leverage on the shaft when it is all the way seated and see if there is too much play. If it is fine, then get a new backing plate.

What is the difference between the frames of the M998/M10XX/H1 Alpha

In the frame thickness comparison of the Ford vs M998, does it make sense to include the wheelbase length?

Temps will drop drastically tomorrow here-What type of engine heater do you use ?

On Ice Road Truckers, Lisa Kelly would leave the truck running and says that is normal practice in temperatures they experience up there.

Oshkosh MK23 family of trucks parts

Food for thought, you could check the load rating of the front and rear axles to gather additional evidence of the diff being the same or different.
