Would you really want radials when you can get bias ply tires in basically the same sizes? To me, a stout tire carcass is far more important than any increases in mileage and/or handling.

It sounds like you may be over thinking this, Ron. Primarily, what is it that makes you think that you don't have leaks in the fuel lines, which is so common? Is the strainer still full when the engine stops, for example?

Also good news is that you don't have to use the tool. I've successfully installed all my Belmetric hose without it. Come to think of it, it wouldn't be hard to make one, especially just for our hose size.

I think you're fine with the fuel you have, unless... Is there any kind of goop at the bottom of the tank? The one I got with JP-8 (or whatever it was) looked like the inside of the tank had a spray-on bedliner on the bottom third. I got really good at cleaning out the strainer on that one...

I widened a set of stock wheels by two inches to work better with my 16.50 PitBull Rockers. Perfect for my needs, and 13 inches is what those tires call for.

Thanks, 419g. Those are still the miserable Michelins they come with. Earlier that day I took out a sidewall on one (and later got stuck in that ditch, after finding out that the loader wouldn't hold the front end up). It now has 13.50, I think, Super Swampers on it. Much better.

I dunno. To me the SEE is plenty top heavy as it is, and leaving the backhoe up doesn't exactly help with stability. And why do you find it hard to latch? I can do it almost completely silently these days. But then, I also run low rpms.
