    I think it depends on the color of the smoke. There is a good post about this somewhere on the site. I think I would be worried if mine didnt smoke a little when I started it up.

    M1009 fuel consumpation, what is your MPG?

    I get around 20 miles per gallon, I add two of the cans of 2 stroke(or cycle) motor oil with every tank. I have talked up my 1008 also for its mileage. I have buddies with 1 ton trucks that get 8-10 mpg in their gassers.

    Envy Totally Awesome! I showed the photos to the wife and said it would be a great bug out vehicle... That did not pass for some reason - ie the CUCV I then told her it was basically a minivan with some heavier metal... She did not buy that either... She asked the approximate price...
