Well I talked to the guy today. He liked my truck so much he offered me 5K for it so he can have fun with it and experiment with his snake oil. NOW WHAT?!

    BND Automotive Diesel/Oil Additives

I'm gonna make a call tomorrow and talk to him. Thank you for the replies. Now to expand on what this guy told me. He owns/operates the company. He worked in the corporate realm and got out. He claims he works on equipment in the mining industry, like the huge earthmovers. Did some work...

    BND Automotive Diesel/Oil Additives

I'm more curious about the diesel additives. not concerned about the oil additives. Don't work for the company or with the company for any endorsement. I'm sure you can see any of previous posts never mentioned anything about this stuff. I was hoping to hear some reactions by people who do...

    BND Automotive Diesel/Oil Additives

Interesting. I managed to leave out a couple facts deliberately because i wanted to hear what people had to say about the website. I appreciate the response, but I am curious to know your experience to refute this guys claim. I am weighing both sides here.

    BND Automotive Diesel/Oil Additives

Yesterday, I was approached by a guy who may be a big help in our quest for better/cheaper fuel alternatives. Not only is he an MV nut, but he is a chemist that specializes in fuel/oil additives. He is interested in our cause and wants to help. Here is his website: bndautomotive.com. Tell...

Went to a car show yesterday. Still need to finish a couple small things, but I had to drive it. The whistler turbo takes a little getting used to. Here are some pics.

New CCKW at the Ropkey Museum

So, Paul, let's see a pic of your truck and what you have done to it to make it correct. You told me knowledge might be dangerous. Harsh man! Seems like your knowledge and the attitude you have has made a few enemies. If you have some knowledge, share it, and be nice about it. AND PAUL...

Thanks for the compliments guys! I have always been a fan of the yellow nose. I knew some astute SS would pick up on the bumper markings not matching the 8th group. I pondered for long while about the markings not matching and I figured to keep them because they were part of the truck. My...

New CCKW at the Ropkey Museum

Put it in a museum as is! I thought they used "tanker" Garands and 1903a4s with gas traps and leupold scopes in market garden. All joking aside.... There are 2 different types of purists. The ones that want factory correct or the ones that want depot or armory rebuilds. I like my stuff...

New CCKW at the Ropkey Museum

You should definitely listen to this guy! :cookoo: He knows what he is :soapbox: about! His opinions really, really matter because it wasn't hard for to live and learn. :hammer: So with that being said, you need to give that truck to me and I'll be more than happy to post pictures of that...

    One thing led to another

Started it up today..... Radiator still leaks and horn stayed on. It wasn't an electrical problem. Took the horn apart. Found the piston in the horn was corroded and stuck open. Cleaned the piston and tube. At least I got the guts back in the doors and the cab top on. Anyone need a driver's...

Thanks George! There's a complete stencil kit that includes big and small stars, TP 50, 24 volts, etc., etc. By the way, studies show that people who breast fed until later years in life have been known to develop issues on relevance and hijacking threads. rofl
