Kinda on subject, has anyone ever encountered a M1008 with a 15 digit VIN? Ive had my truck for 4 months now and can't get it registered because the VIN is short one number. My insurance company insured it but only cuz I just slapped a 1 in front of the VIN and they bought that but DMV isnt.
Boyce Equipment is selling HMMW-V tires for $175 a piece. Is this a decent price? I haven't seen much else online and the only base near me has none. Thanks.
I don't know about your truck, but my ignition is a little stiff and my wife can never get the ignition too the wait to start spot. She is always a sixteenth of an inch away so the plugs never cycle. Just a thought.
Got grey smoke from the exhaust, truck was slaved, starter is fast, cycled the plugs 3 times. I will try the throttle thing when it gets cold again. Thanks.
These guys here in St Louis (NAPA, Auto Zone, Advanced Auto, OReillys) all tell me they don't have this part. I thought maybe there was another name for the CDR.

Ok, ive read through all of these threads but there seems not to be just one answer. Has anyone found a legit part number for the CDR valve? I have been to Oreillys, Advances, NAPA and Auto Zone but they all tell me that there is no CDR valve for a 6.2L. Is there another name used on the...
Update - Stiil haven't found an answer to this problem. Temps are due to drop down again next week, I guess that will give me more time to figure it out!!
I have looked all over this site but havent found any answers to my issue. I have an 85' M1008. On both front wheel wells, closest to the cab, have 6"x6" rust holes. This area has been patched at least three or four times (as is evident by the 3 or 4 layers of sheet metal). I am going to cut the...
