this question is slightly off topic but i have a curosity that i cant handle. there is a little chain that holds the fuel cap into a sleve in the tank. if you take the sleve up and twist it it stays up. you cannot remove it however. what is that sleve for?

does the lye from the bio process stay in the soap? ive heard that lye is very caustic, as to the piont will dissolve bone. does that have any affect long term in using your soap?i would like to try some but alas i live far in mesa az
