Picked up some free parts today I'm not sure what military trailer they come off of . I know the wheel cylinders brake shoes and drums will fit the M52a2 and M131A5C tanker trailer . The man said he tried to take them to the land fill they refused because the tires where on rims he went to the...
The picture with the slip joint is from a GMC cckw and the other is from a Ford with a Marmon herrington 4x4 add on it looks to me like it has no slip joint.

Back it off 1/2 turn rock the brake drum at the top in and out you will feel lots slop .
That is the movement you are trying to take out when your nuts are adjusted .

I have tried 15/40 and thought it was to heavy . Regular power steering fluid is working fine my reservoir is a lot smaller then what I had and the fluid gets warm as is should but not hot.

This pump set up is on my M52a2 that had the multifuel removed and a civilian Mack endt 673 put in . The pump is the pump from the old multifuel whith the in side parts reversed to turn the right way . it is a simple set up that has worked very well . I posted this because it is very close to...
Looks like water on bottom and something on top ? Not knowing anything about this truck I would check all fluids for water and look at the wheel bearings .
