    Alternative Fuel Question

I did not realize that the reg. CUCV 6.2L or 6.5L were of "Multi-Fuel" design. I know the ones for 2-1/2 & 5T were. I knew that to run veggie you needed special strainers, filters heaters etc. How about some input? thanks Smokey

Truck There seems to be a little confusion about how the type gen works. 1st put transfer case in "N" neutral. 2nd pull out "Blue" know in cab of truck which engages the "PTO shaft to turn your generator to abat 1800 rpm (this is gen speed NOT engine speed). 3rd place gear shift lever in...

    M1009 tranny

As was said above M1009 has TH400 which is 3-speed trans. What most likely is your problem is that the vaccum line that is pluged in to the modulator on side of transmission has come off or it could be between there and the vac pump located at rear top of engine. If you disconnect the vac. line...

    M1031, $7400.00!

I agree the $8500 after the 10% + taxes is pretty steep. If you got one for 700/$800 & it had at least a working generator and was able to drive it home, you got a life-time deal. Every base I buy a vehicle they will not let me drive it off, it has to be trailered. Did your truck have the air...
