    Found part of the problem. The cariage bolt has rattled loose enough to fall below the piston on the bimbi cyl. The bimbi cyl tip is threaded, is there a special end that needs to be there, cant really tell from the pics???

    I just got my shoes relined for about $100 at a local brake supply for big rigs, had to order the two springs from Eriks or any of the other suppliers on here. don't toss the shoes themselves as they are permanently discontinued and are hard to come by.
