It was a little too far off to successfully bolt it on while attached. It took a little prying and bending with a screw driver, but I was able to get the pump to fit. Too bad they can't make these after market parts identical to the real thing

Also I got the part number from the tm and crossed referenced it on their computer, so I am assuming its the correct pump.

The truck is in 2 wheel drive, in park, on the ground, and both wheels are unlocked. When I spin the shaft only the passenger side axle shaft spins. Shouldn't both spin?

For anyone with a 1984 Blazer who has the six pin locknut, aside from taping it out and replacing it, your best bet is picking up a Kent Moore J34616 off of Ebay for 10 or so dollars. The six-lug sockets you find at most auto stores are way too big and won't work.

I always put dot three into it. But what I was wondering is there was a five minute period between the point where I may or not have let air into the system and the point where the pedal stopped working, if there was air in it wouldn't the pedal have stopped working immediately?

I forgot to say that there was a lot of time between when the compartment running out of fluid and the brakes dying. I did top it off when I noticed. If the brakes lost pressure because of running out of fluid during the bleeding would the brakes stop working right then and there?

Should I just bleed it normally or bench bleed the master, Also Do you think it's the fluid that's making the calipers not release all the way?

Also, the brake light ( which usually comes on for the parking brake) came on. Also we were pushing the brake all the way down when bleeding, which from what I just read your not supposed to do.
