    The Epic Separation

Ian I have an iPhone and so do the other two passengers, we will also have a GO-PRO for moving deuce videos. and if i can get the parts together, we might have an IR Camera too. this will be well documented! -M As soon as I can get google maps to work on these stinkin' ships computers, I will...

Turbo "j-pipe" angles for making a new pipe...

Pulse timing uses helmholtz theory to tune intake and exhaust runners to take advantage of 3 different "pulses" that occur in a running engine. Step headers are mostly used to keep velocity up and reduce back pressure where space isnt a luxury. Neither of those concepts are applicable to a...

Turbo "j-pipe" angles for making a new pipe...

Purpose of the larger pipe is #7, "Shorter and larger exhaust tends to lower EGT and increase available power" Mightymanx, no performance gain? could you explain your reasoning? The "D" turbo is better sized than the "C", but yes I'll agree neither is the best for making the most power. But...

Turbo "j-pipe" angles for making a new pipe...

Bigger from turbo back. Including the stack. I have found a place to get everything at a very reasonable price, I just need to know what angles I need.

Turbo "j-pipe" angles for making a new pipe...

Several reasons actually, 1. I like the look of the fender exhaust. 2. There are mufflers if its too loud, plus I have a 'D' turbo. 3. I dont like the exhaust down low 4. I am 27 and not ready to be mature about the exhaust noise and my hearing 5. I do not like to talk, or listen to my...

Turbo "j-pipe" angles for making a new pipe...

What are the angles? I can obviously see the lower "j" part of the pipe is two 90s. What about the bend right before it comes up through the fender and turns into the stack? (45*? 30*?) what about the one that goes into the engine bay? (???) I am thinking about fabricating a larger diameter...

    The Epic Separation

Tractor? I didn't haul a tractor? I have seen another black deuce, off of sultan basin road, with some monster tires on it. That wasn't me you had seen! But I did drive out to sultan basin up to Spada lake this weekend. Had 2 of my big friends in the cab, and some junk for the dump, but no...

    The Epic Separation

Yes it is a road trip! Well in a deuce it sure is. I drive it about 200 miles a week now, but I still like your thinking. Extra filters and belts is a good idea, I have the spin ons for everything.

Beer comes in the MRE... Doesn't it!? Haha, beer is like socks an underwear, I don't have to list it, it should be assumed I have it. Brakes work flawless as of now, I'll give em a good once over soon, just in case. Cody, WY, check. It's been added. Ive already sealed the windshield with...

Wheel boot seal thingy, does this look bad?

Yeah, there is a lot of grease, I can't tell if it's coming from the base of the boot or from a tear... Either way, the grease is getting out, so crap must be able to get in. I've read the step by step posted not to long ago... But where do I get the parts from?

    The Epic Separation

43 days from now I will be on job hunting and terminal leave, separating from 8 years active duty navy. My brother and my best friend are flying up to Seattle and we are going to make an Epic separation road trip. 2200 miles. 7 days. With my corvette in the bed of the deuce and towing an...
