i tried that wioth my truck but for some reason if i unscrew the dash and start to wiggle it out the volt meter in the dash shorts itself out and blows a fuse. i found disconecting the 2 batterys works for this LOL
just from my own trucks quirck list. when i start her up i have to tap the fuel once to get the lights to go out. once i get them spun up they are fine.
jebuz i paid 6K + tax for mine here in canada and that was with it needing new brake master,exhuast,u-joints,fluid changes,seatbelt, v-belts, tires and a few other odds and ends
well just an update, 95% of the vib's disapeared with replacment of the rear u-joints. only had t oissuses while replacing them.
1) the book listed the wrong ujoint on the pinion side of the drive shaft *Napa had 3011 joint listed when it was a 3130 joint*
2)the jiont on the pinion side wore...
yeah i guess i will have to crawl up under her and take a look at the drive line as it seems that it does go away when coasting and or in neautral. on a good note my lady friend sure likes it LOL
the whole truck vibrates bad enough to loosen the hold down nut of the spare tire. it stops when i take my foot off the fuel pedal.i'll check the u-joints in the AM when its dry and light out.

yeah i was looking at that but needed brakes now got to put the beast to work next week LOL, so i sucked up the $16 per 200ML cost +taxes. next time i am buying from the US LOL
ok so i just replaced the master cylinder on ym M1009 got thew system bled. while i did notice a considerable increase in stopping power. i am still bewildered about the front brakes. while driving down my camp road doing 10 mph if i hit the brakes the rear lock up but the front only lock if...
i wewnt the cheap easy route, seeing as how my stock mufflers where rotted through i had them cut off and cherry bombs installed. believe it or not the cab got a tad quieter LOL

i figured that it was likely the master. i may as well pull it and put a new one on, save this one for a rebuild later on. anyone know the correct NAPA part number? they have 2 listed for the 85 blazer with a 6.2
