The only thing I could come up with is to clean it out after it was cast. It is cast aluminum like an intake manifold. It sure does kill the boost if it is AWOL.

I had a problem with mine not building any boost. Turns out there was a big 1" pipe plug in back of pressure chamber blew out about three days after install. make sure and check that for tightness and put some teflon tape on it while you have it out.

Hey Jimmy, this piece will allow you to bolt a 2wd 4l80e to a NP205?? Then you have to fix up a tps input and speed sensor output plus a computer, is that right?? The reason I ask I know someone who several mid 90's GM p/u with the 6.5 turbo. They have 4l80e for 600$
Be careful with the gear vendors unit. A friend of mine bought one brand new, backed out of a parking space 2 mos. after installing it, no pulling when he shifted into drive. Gear vendors would not warranty it as they state not to be used in reverse!!! Supposed to barely move backwardsa then...
Just to clarify, i am not going to mix the two, going to flush mine and fill with dot3. Its easy to clear the old out, just open all the bleeders and flush with clean new fluid after the old is gone.

Did you consider going to regular brake fluid instead of using the $27 can?? Just wondered cause I am going to when I change out any brake components, that is RIDICULOUS!!!:-(
Yeah, its got a gooseneck hitch. The Bed was bought from and installed by Smyrna Truck in Ga. Beanman did me a good job and y'all need to call him if you're in Ga for paint work.

Nostalgic air sells one that will work with only the passenger side alt. That will be the way I go because I want to keep the compressor away from the banks turbo.

Well, today I answered my own question. 860 lbs at the scrapyard, sold for .45 cents a pound = $387.00. Just thought i'd post in case anyone else needed to know.

Well, after a coupla months of trying to sell my contact body, I am going to end up scrapping it. Aluminum is pretty good price right now, so does anybody have an idea how much the bare shell would weigh?? Just looking for a general idea, unless someone knows exactly.

On a related note, my digital trailer brake controller that was just installed by someone who supposedly knew what they were doing, was being fed by the one fuse in the fuse block thats 24 volts!!!! Hopefully it will be ok, if not they will be buying me a new one..
Motorcraft diesel 15w40 in the gallon jugs at wallyworld!! Read a survey of different oils zinc content and it had the highest, even more than rotella or delo. Just use it because I have 2 or 3 old cars with flat tappet cam shafts and the zinc helps there as well.

As stated above, get down to bare metal, then I use por-15 as instructions say. Has worked well on at least four different project trucks over the years.
Back in 1987 I had a new chevy truck had the speakers in the dash and in rear cab corners. Worked pretty well, LMC truck has the speaker grilles for that location.
