That's My point exactly, Why would we complain about the Cops having these items to help protect us when we can have them our selfs ?
I don't get it.....
What ! you mean not all sheriffs departments have APCs, helicopters
and jet boats ?
OMG how will we ever be safe ?
I don't have a problem with letting the Cops have such things, As along as I can have them too.
Interesting thought... How do you get " demoted " here ?
Not following posted forum rules ? Being disrespectful to anybody,
regardless of Rank ? Or maybe going five years without any donation to the site or sanctiond SS event ?
I for one don't care either way about the " rank "...
We wont laugh, My M880 came with red plastic caps over the dash light bulbs. I am not sure but I think this was something that came with the Blackout light kit....
I cant remember..... But cant you just pull those pieces off from the top without taking apart the window ?
I think they just clip into place from the top. If you can get on a Chevy truck forum I am sure thy will be able to look it up in a Chiltons for you.
Just a thought......
It depends on what you call "decent " Remember a lot of the M880 were cammoed by a PVT. and a 3in. paint brush. The only prep work usually was washing off the mud.

Consider this : The MVPA is having a convoy across America and they will be passing threw OH. IN. and IL. from June 17th. threw the 21st.
I am under the impression that they are inviting any one to convoy with them at any part of the trip ( with M.V. of any Era ). Although the rout is Further...
Sounds good, I have never been to one but if it is going to be a decent size event maybe I will make the trip this time.... Have you ever invited other MV groups to attend at Haspin like the Ohio motor pool ?
Just wondering how big of an event this will be ?
Actually, The link that SKAJM provided is the one you need to read....
I decided not to do the Gage conversion on my truck at this time, but I would not try to talk you out of it either... many people swear by it, They can't all be wrong.
I did however bypass the firewall connector. Here...
This happens quite a bit with these trucks. the gage goes bad and causes a short. If in a pinch, you can bolt the two wires at the Amp gage ( 10 ga. wire one red and one black ) together and bypass the gage.
Things to check will include the voltage regulator and firewall connector.
Later on...
