For some reason i am not getting any fuel after i put on a new fuel pump and filter for my m1008 which has a 1990 6.2 humvee block took the filter off to see anything was coming out when i turn it over and nothing it has a full tank of gas
front battery
+ goes to top row #1 on firewall
- goes to bottom row #2 on firewall
rear battery
+ goes to top row #1 on firewall
- goes to bottom row #2 on firewall
there are 4 wire 2 black and 2 red
okay it looks like the resistors on the firewall are not connected and have not been connected in some time and i am still working on some of the wiring
i need to replace my starter and i have 2 batterys and 2 alternators hooked up and when i test the red wire that goes to the starter it is reading 12v but i thought it was a 24v starter it looks original i cant really read the numbers but it says delco remy on it
i got everything grounded that i know of like it shows in the books i also found out that if i hit the black out switch then the frame goes back to 0 like it should so i think i got a problem in my fuse box with somthing shorting out
i got a wiring problem when i get a volt meter and put the + on the frame and the - on the battery i got 9 volt from the frame when the headlights are off when i flip the switch on i get 12v and none of the electrical works inside or out i just put a new engine in it it is a 1990 6.2l humvee...
Can anyone tell me how the fuel system converts from a 1990 humvee 6.2l diesel to a 1985 m1008 and what kind of transmission bolts are for the transmission are they metric or standard??
Please and Thank You
I didn't call gm because i needed to get the truck out of where it was at before they towed it so i got one custom made for $50 then i drove it about 1 mile and it started making a really bad LOUD noise sounds like the rods maybe i don't really know i think a rebuilt kit would do it anybody know...
Well i went back and looked at it this morning and i found the oil cooler line was cut by the frame and the engine is some how not seized i put oil in it and it fired right up so now i have to find out where to get another line
