I dont have too much to go on yet, but I hope someone can help me out a little bit with some information and maybe a supplier of parts.
Model is RS15611NFSF
7.1:1 final ratio between the r&p and planataries
Both were manufactured in 1989 by Rockwell International.
Air brakes on both.
I was...
Not sure if I am reading wrong or not... but are there not just two pieces... the seat and then the frame/base. The seat bolts to the frame and then the frame to the floor.
Sounds above, like you have three pieces?
I just wanted to add... that lifting a truck by way of buying through ORD may cost a little more, but its worth it. You get a much better ride and you get a suspension that will actually work (articulate nicely).
You can lift it cheaper... but cheap is what you get.
Myself... I want to use the factory mounting holes. If you do not... just make sure everything is braced in good as you said. Thats a problem with using newer seats that have the integrated seat belts. Our seat belt mount to the floor.
Just look for the K5 Blazer of the same generation. The civilian and military bodies are not any different.
Pickups are different for sure... and I am pretty sure the Suburbans are also different , not positive on that though.
I agree on this. Same motor that was used in the civilian trucks. Not hot rod diesels for sure... but, you see them all over the place with well over 100,000 miles.
I do believe you are talking about a proportioning valve?
If so, they do not make them new anymore. You will need to find a good used one for an exact replacement.
Otherwise the adjustable ones you can get through aftermarket shops will work fine.
