Here are 3 of the 4 I got. The 1028 is with my blue truck, and the other 2 are 1008's and the 4th is at my shop. The one closest needs a windshield and right hand side glass and needs the injection pump put back on. I haven't decided to fix it or part it.

Yeh i'm going to run it out of a 5 gallon can and see what it does, if it helps i'll start checking everything from the fuel pump back to the tank.

I have a 1008 that seems to have a problem with getting air in the system especially after sitting at night but will also bother if it idles long enough. I cannot find anything wrong with the hoses or the line on the intake side of the fuel pump. I guess i'll try either filling it up with fuel...

Now that you mention the jack and handle it has that too, along with the 2 tow hooks for the front. I also found a paper talking about it having an engine knock and it gives the mileage. I'll have to look at that tomorrow and see if it jives with that report.

Well I was looking through one of my new fleet and found an original owners manual and lubrication order. It even has the green notebook to put it in. The only trouble is is has gotten a little wet but it is drying out right now. It's in pretty good shape for being in the weather for who knows...

Yes that's true if I were going to be keeping it, but it would most likely be sold to someone around here probably a farmer for a runaround truck. But even at at hat it would make a real nice truck for someone even in half ton configuration.
