M1101 4 pin to 12 pin-no brake lights help, please

It's a 2008 FJ cruiser. Some Google and more educated searches should help now that I know what the problem is, but personal experience/knowledge you may want to share would be great.

M1101 4 pin to 12 pin-no brake lights help, please

I had a Ford 250 for 16 years. I saw the 4 plug on the Toyota and thought it was stock like on my Ford. Previous owners father says it's not stock and thinks there's a converter that wasn't used. Everything is easily accessible so I just have to learn about the 5 to 4 pin adapter and where to...

M1101 4 pin to 12 pin-no brake lights help, please

I think the answer lies somewhere in that Toyota runs a 5 pin plug and to go to 4 pin, you need some sort of an adapter. I think the previous owner of my vehicle may not have done this.

M1101 4 pin to 12 pin-no brake lights help, please

I "think" I did everything by the numbers in wiring a 4 pin connector to the 12 pin male trailer end. I switched the 24 volt incandescent lights in the tail lights for their 12 volt counterparts. The LED and incandescent running lights and blinkers work. The brake lights don't. Is there a...

Trailer cable plug, MS75020-2 for M1101 lights

Ahhhhh. I saw the protrusions and assumed the part above was male, but that must be where I would wire my civie plug to. And the 12 pin receptical above mates with the plug in the photo attached?

Trailer cable plug, MS75020-2 for M1101 lights

That item plugs into a seven blade RV receptacle. I was hoping to create the same thing but with a flat connector to mate with my vehicle.

Trailer cable plug, MS75020-2 for M1101 lights

Hello gentlemen-and any ladies here, I'm thinking I can wire a civilian connecter that fits my vehicle to this and have an interface system that will work connecting to my M1101 trailer(not picked up yet) leaving all original trailer wiring intact...

    Hello and introduction

Would a 2012 trailer like this be rigged with all LED lights? I'm kind of confused igrom my searches if that will be the case or the tail lights may be 24 volt non LEDs.
